Why choose adventure?

For the Humans

  • All dogs are monitored, never left unattended. All dogs in the pack remain in eyesight and wear a drag line 100% of the adventure until they are consistent and confident as part of the pack.

  • Photos and video updates are sent at the end of the day so you can watch your dog explore new locations, bond with the pack, and stay informed.

  • You should expect our dog to return home tired physically and mentally. It is normal to your dog less active for 1-2 days after a Pack Adventure, especially dogs who are acclimating to this level of activity. Give their bodies time to recover, just like we would see people take a rest day after a particularly good workout.

Why choose adventure?

For the love of dogs

  • Most pets do not get the opportunity to tackle varied terrain, or go the distances expected in a Pack Adventure. Your dog (and your shoes) will thank you later.

  • Mental exercise can be just as tiring as physical exercise for dogs. Processing the sights, sounds, and smells of these wilderness areas is a mental workout for your dog. You know that feeling after solving a particularly tough problem or learning a new skill? That’s similar to the enrichment dogs get through Pack Adventures.

  • Pack environments are a healthy and safe way for dogs to practice and learn social skills. They benefit from working together to problem solve and reach common goals. Unlike dog parks and walks around the block, working in a pack allows dogs to interact in a space where their focus is on the environment just as much or more as interacting with the dogs around them.

  • Fulfilling a dog’s biological needs to sniff, hunt, and exist in nature settings leads to a more balanced dog. The living room may not be the appropriate place to climb and sprint, but a Pack Adventure is.
