  • Hey! I’m Jessie Mullins. Life-long dog lover and outdoor gal. It’s my goal to give your dog safe, amazing adventure days an give you the peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. Each dog is unique, and so are their needs. I work wit each dog within the pack to ensure they are comfortable and we are all enjoying our time together responsibly. This includes enforcing and rewarding good recall an great pack behavior through the use of long lines, tasty treats, and lots and lots of positive reinforcement. When your dog interacts with me or exhibits great behavior, they get paid!

  • The right dog for Ruffin’ It Dog Adventures is a dog that:

    -Is pack motivated.

    -Has a healthy medical record and updated vaccinations.

    -Is happy to adventure and ride in a a vehicle with other dogs.

    -Is given heartworm medication and flea and tick medication on a regular schedule.

    -Wants to run, play, and explore for long distances.

    -Has a pet parent dedicated to scheduling consistent adventures for both the integrity of the pack and the dog’s acclimation to the pack.

    -Has no bite history.

  • The consultation is a benefit for the pet parent, Ruffin’ It, and the pack.

    -Each dog joining the pack is vetted for behavioral issues, medical history, and current training progress. It would not benefit any party to take a dog out with our pack that s not a good fit.

    -Your chance to get to know the pack leader Jessie better and discuss your dog’s personality and needs.

    -Ask any questions you may have about Ruffin’ It Dog Adventures pack adventures, training process, emergency procedures, and receiving updates on your dog.

  • Drop off/pick up from your home is currently included i the price of the Pack Adventures. In the event that you are not available during standard drop off/pick up times or live further than our typical client, we may be able to reach an alternate arrangement. Pick ups begin around 11am and drop offs begin at 5pm.

  • An animal first aid kit is always on hand during a Pack Adventure to handle any minor cuts or scrapes. In the event further medical assistance is needed, you will be notified and they will be taken to the vet in your records. In a medical emergency, you will be notified and your dog will be taken to the nearest emergency vet.

    Scheduling and booking for current clients, or clients who have completed a consultation and are approved is available on this site on the Book Now page.

  • Head over to our Book Now page to schedule your consultation. There is a questionnaire to be completed and file upload space for vet records. From there, Jessie will reach out with any other questions and confirm you appointment within 24 hours of your request.

    Once your dog is approved, you can start booking Pack Adventures in the scheduling calendar.

  • As the pet parent, it is your responsibility to be open and honest about your dog’s needs, medical history, and behaviors.

    Understanding your dog starts with you, and it is important for your dog’s safety that the information we receive is accurate.

    Pet parents must also understand that there is inherent risk present with any dog in the wilderness no matter their training or skill level. However, it is our responsibility to ensure all measures are taken to eliminate as much risk as possible.
